The same sun shines on each of us, Equally

Medium & Size

Inks, Oil, Charcoal and cotton thread on raw canvas

The same sun shines on all of us.

We arrive here shaped by what we have lived. Every person carries a story. Every body carries marks of experience. Scars are not exceptions, they are evidence. Evidence of survival, of rebuilding, of becoming.

This bright pink, hand dyed work bursts with energy and colour. It draws you in with vibrancy, yet beneath the surface there is exposure. A rawness. Layers that speak of what it takes to stand in the light after having moved through darkness.

Strength and vulnerability are not opposites. They exist together. One makes space for the other. What appears bold can also be tender. What feels fragile can hold immense power.

We are more equal than we realise. Beneath the surface, we are all carrying something.
